Behind Every Piece,
Are People and Stories
Worth Knowing
Don Peter
Born in Taxco, Pedro López Garduño—known to us as Don Peter—has spent approximately 35–40 years working with silver. What began as a way to earn a living became a craft he came to love for the freedom to create, innovate, and make pieces that others enjoy. Today, he continues working by hand and hopes younger generations will carry Taxco’s silversmithing tradition forward.

Sebastian
Sebastian began making bracelets about three years ago after curiosity led him to try the craft. He quickly discovered both a talent for it and an appreciation for creating clean, precise, carefully finished pieces. Today, his work helps support his biochemical engineering studies. He hopes his bracelets will reach people far beyond Taxco—and that one day, he’ll recognize his own work on the wrists of people who wear it.

Ricardo
Ricardo Ríos has been handcrafting jewelry pouches for approximately 30 years, continuing a practice he remembers from his father in Taxco. He began making them while working with silver, when he saw a need for a practical way to protect and present the jewelry. A lifelong lover of artisan work, Ricardo jokes that even when he’s old enough to need a cane, he’ll probably still be working.

Erika
Erika’s connection to Taxco began long before Reviva. She grew up hearing stories of family members who worked in the city’s silver industry and returned in 2025 to learn the craft herself. What began as a desire to reconnect with that heritage grew into Reviva—a way to work alongside traditional artisans, share their craftsmanship and stories, while helping give Taxco’s silver tradition somewhere to go next.

Iva
Meet Iva, Reviva’s smallest team member. Erika got her in Taxco, just across the street from the workshop where she was learning to work with silver. Now she’s Reviva’s unofficial assistant artisan and resident mascot; she keeps a close eye on the creative process—no silversmithing experience required.
